Scotland long Weekend

Let's visit what has been voted the most beautiful country on the planet so many times that you have always wanted to go! The country of handsome men in kilts,(pretty ladies too), bagpipes and the Loch Ness Monster. The one and only SCOTLAND!

Septembee will give us the change to visit this marvellous place with less chances of rain so hit the trails and join me for s great weekend!

Book your flight to Edinburgh on the 08.10 am from Luton and meet me at the airport at 6 am. The return will be from Glasgow.

A flight from London booked in advance can cost you as little as £60 return. ( I have paid £25 for mu flight to Edinburgh)

DAY 1: Visit of Edinburgh and hike its hills.

We will take the navette to Princess Street where we will leave our suitcases at a left luggage for the day and kick off the trip with what has been voted the most beautiful city in the world by several magazines and rightly so.

( Our hotel is in Glasgow about 45 minutes from there)

If you haven't been to Scotland before, the Scottish Capital is a must see so let's enjoy our first day in this gorgeous country in the capital.

The Royal miles, Edinburgh Castle and the hills that surround this beauty of architecture will amaze you so take a camera, it really is worth it!

There will be possibility to visit the underground city, for an extra cost if you wish, we will decide as soon as the WhatsApp group will be created a week before the trip. ( it will need to be prebooked)

We will have diner around 6 and will then get on the train to our hotel in Glasgow where we will be based for the next 3 nights.

DAY 2: Minibus grand tour around Scotland.

The Lochs, the castles and the the most magical places.

For our second day, after all this walk, we will get a bit of a rest and will get on a Rabbies minibus that will take us around the best things to see in Scotland. A minibus will take us on a day trip to the following locations for some gorgeous views without all the effort that we have made in the past day. I have travelled twice with this company and have really enjoyed it, we will have a local guide who will show us some incredible places all the way up to the Loch Ness.

We will have short photographs and visit stops at the following locations;

Glencoe

Great Glenn

Fort Augustus

Loch Ness, let's find Nessie!

Rannoch Moors

Grampian Mountains

We will walk all these areas and enjoy every seconds before we head back to Glassgow for diner. Pack some snacks but we should have a 1 hour break on the way.

DAY 3: Kilchurn Castle and the Bens mountains, the proper hike.

KILCHURN CASTLE ( In the picture)

This is the most romantic place that I have found in Scotland, I fell in love so much with the surrounding and the stunning photos that I had to take you there.

Located on Loch Awe, in Argyll and Bute, It was first constructed in the mid-15th century as the base of the Campbells of Glenorchy, who extended both the castle and their territory in the area over the next 150 years.

The Campbells of Glenorchy were the most powerful cadet branch of the Clan Campbell, and over two centuries from the 1430s came to dominate the central Highlands. The building of several castles, of which Kilchurn was the first, was a key part of their territorial expansion during this period.

DAY 4: Good bye you beauty!

Time to pack! After breakfast and a stroll in the cobalt streets, it will be time to go back home. We will take the navet back to the airport unless you have planned to stay longer.

If you wish and if you are not too tired we can also decide to visit another place before we head back home,our minds filled with wonders and our cameras full of wonderful pictures.

Buy a single flight ticket to Edinburgh.(I am booked on the 08.10 am from Luton on the 08 September)

Return, book any flight, you will need to take the bus to the airport but I will explain you the details, it's easy. 😄

MEETING POINT:

6 am at Luton Airport or at an agreed place in Edinburgh City center at 10am.
