About the event

Passionate about beauty, history, good time with lovely people, food and a small unknown country called Italy? Well, come for this lovely weekend with me and my Jonions in my favourite place on Earth, ROME.

Who has not heard of it? I mean, all roads lead to Rome as we say, just look out your window and whatever country you live in you will find an ancient Roman highway, the ruins of a wall or an underground city built before JC was born, and you know what? You know nothing about it so come and investigate!

This trip will be dedicated to visiting ancient monuments such as the Colosseum and the Roman Forum (of course, we'dd be mad not to!), the

We will spend a day in another country, inside the same city,...how cool is that? Called the Vatican, if you have heard of it? It is a place where men wear dresses and call their boss Papa and talk all day and night about Jesus and... I was about to make a very unacceptable joke. Anyway, it is big, it is beautiful and very important for Catholics around the world, it has a giant, very big, extremely large, a bit too large church with lots of gold, it has a museum just like the British museum and the Louvre and the most expensive ceiling on the planet, in a place called the Sistine Chapel and the dead bosses of all those men in dresses that you can visit underground. Jokes aside, no disrespect if you are a believer, I just like to joke about everything, but that place is fabulous, whether you are a Christian, an atheist or a Bhuddist, muslim or a feminist, there is a lot to see. As Capital of the world for so long, as you can imagine, there is a lot to see and I won't go through all of it, I mean, yes, we will see it all but I won't talk about it all. The most important part of the trip, except for the beauty of the city will be the food part, I mean, Italy, Rome, Pizza, pasta, delish veggies, arancinis, breads and sweets of all sorts and the chianti, gosh, the Chianti when it goes down your throat and the taste of the wine hits your brain and a flashing 'Bingo' sign has just been lit inside your brain and your eyes are showing nothing less than desire! And the coffee, ...We will eat in Trastevere at some of the best places in the country, Poeta and co, we will go for drinks if you wish and get more food to digest the rest of the food we have had. Anyway, enough talking, you are in and you need to book down there! Click on 'book' and give me money, Rome is pretty, sexy, tasty, historically interesingy (just trying to keep the rime) and just book for Christ sake! (Sorry God, I will repent when I am there in your humble home with Papa Francisco) See you there guys! Love Mama Jon
