About the event
Time to travel to one of the most stunning places on Earth that I had the chance to visit MOROCCO.
This trip will be a 5 nights trip that will mix history, nature, short hikes, lazy times by the pool or on the beach and a diner in the desert.
We will be based in Marrakech in a Hotel in the city's more modern but not less historical part. Psst, there is a pool.
I have booked hotel des 3 palmiers but hope to find rooms in my favourite hotel nearby once they open the bookings for April, this hotel has got great reviews so you won't be disappointed if I cannot get my favourite one.
The red city has a lot to offer so does the rest of the country. I will guide you through Marrakech and Essaouira while we will have a local guide for the Ouzoud Waterfalls and the diner in the desert. Please be aware that the Agafay Desert is NOT the Sahara, the Sahara is nowhere near Marrakech and we will not be visiting on this occasion, nevertheless, you will not be disappointed with the sunset on the Agafay...😉

DAY 1: Marrakech old town, the Souk, the square, the Mosque and the Palace.
We will meet at 8am for breakfast and an early start to avoid the heat of the afternoon. This is the day that we visit this stunning city, I will guide you through centuries of history in a place where it feels like it has not moved since the 14th century under the eyes of the white storks, I will take you through these quaint streets where we will get lost.
We will visit the Bahia Palace if we have time and will head back mid afternoon to enjoy the pool or some well deserved rest before diner.
DAY 2: Africa's second largest waterfall and North Africa's last monkeys.
We will take a day trip with a travel company that I have used before, we will have a guide that will show us the way to the gorgeous Waterfalls where we will have lunch and where you will be able to swim. They will take us to a Berber house where they sell argan oil products before we end the trip with some of the last remaining wild monkeys in North Africa.
DAY 3: Essaouira; the white and Blue city, Game of Thrones and sandy beach.
Time to go by the sea! We will use the same company but without the guide this time( I have to work as well😁)
we will stop on the way for some photos of the "Goat trees", the argan trees where hundreds of goats climb to feed. Once we have arrived, I will show you the town and the filming location for Game of Throne before we hit the beach. My favourite restaurant in Morocco is here so if you wish to have an early diner, we can grab a tagine or a couscous before we go back around 6.30pm.
DAY 4: Yves St Laurent's Home and diner in the desert.
For our last full day, I am taking you to one of Marrakech top attractions, the wonderful gardens of Jardin Majorelle, the former home of Yves St Laurent and a last stroll in the city and a relax afternoon.
In the evening, we will dress up nicely for a diner in the Glorious Agafay desert. A minibus will pick us up at the hotel and take us on a one hour journey to the wilderness where you will have time for some pictures, diner and some traditional Berber music before we head back to the hotel for our last night in this beautiful country.
