About the event
Let's go to my favourite city and what has become my 3rd home and let's take a trip to this wonder that is located at the junction between Orient and Occident. ISTANBUL
Once called Constantinople, this marvel of culture, architecture and fantastic food who was once capital of the Roman/Byzantine Empire and a stronghold of the Ottoman Empire will blow your mind.
Its history, one of the richest on the planet, has shaped the city, a melting pot of different cultures and believes where the visitors will always feel welcome and where the sunsets from Galata Bridge are the most magical.
And the food, gosh! This food! From Borek to mix platers, sarma, the delicious stuffed wine leafs,Kavhalti, the traditional Turkish breakfast of the warm desert kunefe, the stews from the Hatay and Black sea regions, the hundreds of sorts of Turkish delights, and of course THE WINE, Turkish wine from the sunniest region and of course the famous Raki.
YOU WILL NOT RESIST ANY OF THOSE TREATS.😄

We will make our way to the city centre and visit the Old Istanbul, from the blue mosque and the Topkapi Palace, to the Grand Bazard and Egyptian Market, this is the heart of Istanbul, we will step into history and this is the place to buy souvenirs and wonderful spices.
The evening
FREEDOM TIME or possibility to head to an Ottoman restaurant where they serve the traditional food that was served to the Sultans and their court a few hundreds years earlier, a real delight. We can then walk this area which is where most Turkish people live and where you will rarely find tourists.
SUNDAY:
After breakfast, we will make our way to the ferry that will take us to the Princes Island, Buyukada.
Once the private holiday retreat of the Sultan, buyuk Ada is a marvel of nature in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, you will walk alongside the most gorgeous manors of the old Turkish Bourgeoisie, go through forests and have outstanding views of Istanbul and the Mediterranean Sea.
In the evening I have several options open but we will decide on the group chat that I will send to those who have booked.
