About the event
The Peak District is one of Britain's most visited and outstanding national parks.
It was the first in England and Wales and has been designated as such since 1951.
With its outstanding views, we will climb its peaks and cliffs, moorland and forests, it is one of the most fascinating places where every path will take us through some of the most stunning landscapes in Europe.
Home to a unique and rare wildlife, we should cross the path of some of its most famous inhabitants; the infamous red grouse, a bird species represented on the label of the Whiskey of the same name and that is only endemic to the moors of the UK and Ireland as well as curlews, golden plovers, short and long-eared owls and many mammals such as the mountain hares, the pine martens and the majestic red deer.
We will walk through magical lands in the Snake woods and along the traditional cottages and rivers on the look out for the most perfect photographs and a great day out with our fantastic hikers.
